Summer Hill Community Choir

The Summer Hill Community Choir has been running since 2014 and exists to provide a safe, friendly and fun atmosphere for people of all ages (12+) and abilities to experience the joys and benefits of group singing. It is led by Luke Sweeting (music director), Catherine Paix (choir master) and is an activity of the Summer Hill Church. The choir normally rehearses in two or three seasons a year, and when in season rehearsals are on Mondays 6:15pm-7:30pm.

Experienced and inexperienced singers welcome. There are no joining cost or auditions however donations are welcome to cover costs. Audio examples will be available to help you learn parts.

How to join? Please come to the first or second rehearsal (and then keep coming!).
Can I just give it a try for a week or two? Certainly, we welcome that!

But I've never sung in a choir before? You'll be one of many.
Do I need to pay? No, but donations are welcome.
I might be away for a week or two? Please do your best to make every rehearsal.
But I'll be slightly late from work. We'd rather you join than not join!
